I like to fancy myself a writer.

The primary volume of my work is here on this site, in the 200+ entries I've written over the years. My plan is to become more serious about this though, and as such, I'm starting to turn my hand to more professional work.

My only success to date is the completion of NaNoWriMo 2002, where I wrote an entire 50,000 word novel in one month. It's called Halfway to Dead, and is a contemporary horror/humor book. It's been well-received by friends and family and the few random people who have been brave enough to try it.

I'm planning on polishing up the novel and submitting it for publishing (which is why it's been removed from the site). I don't know what sort of success I'll have, but I'm going to do it. One way or the other. If you want to give me a hand, send me an occasional note to ask how it's coming. Then (in my shame at not having done anything) I'll buckle down and get something done.
