Why I'm Not a Webcartoonist
Friday, July 25, 2003. Entry #223

The above was spurred by another quick look into the travels of my Rumination. For the past details, go here and here.

I was recently reminded that Google holds an archive of all Usenet posts since 1981. Those of us who have been around long enough can see our old, sad, naive posts and laugh at our innocent queries.

So I'm rooting through, looking for stuff with my name on it and noticed a couple more .sig files with my quote. So I did a more extensive search. What I found made me giggle quite a bit. 174 messages with me quoted? Heh. Some thought it brilliant and expanded on the joke in many ways, others had seen it so much that they were now tired by it.

Anyway. Thought I'd lay claim to it once more in my own fashion. Pretty horrible, isn't it? Don't reckon I'll be invited to join Keenspot anytime soon.
