2002. Entry #193
I'm
very tired today.
It's been a busy few days,
and it's looking like it's not going to get any better.
Despite being swamped at
work, I've managed
to keep up with the writing and I'm up over 8,000 words already.
There's a new little counter on the home page,
so you can see exactly how far I still have to go. The little red
dot is where I should be for the day.
Tonight is my first meeting
with the other Calgarian NaNoWriMo writers. A few of them have got
together before, but it sounds like there will be a dozen of us
all in one place. It may be fun. It may be really, really weird.
I'll let you know.
Joel
and Connie
are both planning on attending, so I'll have someone I know at least.
Oh, if you ever decide
to try out my Chicken Nachos recipe,
be very careful how hot you make it. Lisa and I ate a batch last
night and are now suffering from severge jaloproctitis (otherwise
known as 'perianal discomforture').
I'm just saying.
Two Years Ago Plus A
Day Today: X-Terminator, where
I enunciated my discomforture with Robert Patrick's appearance on
the X-Files.
Aaaand in 1935:
Parker Brothers launched the game of Monopoly.
Mom
Rating: 1.5 out of 5. Mom is more worried that this book
is all I'm going to write about this month. And I should take better
care of my... digestive system.
Previous: Saturday
in the Cafe
Next: Halfway
to the Mark
Take
me home, big fella
