Back!
Once the backstage tour was complete (it only took about an hour) we got to whip around the main exhibit area while the second tour group went through.
An hour is INSUFFICIENT to see the whole museum. I could spend an hour just looking at all the microscopic critters in the Burgess Shale exhibit alone. If you head down, plan for the whole day. Period. And it'll be worth it.
A couple more shots:

So then we all climbed back into the vans for the ride home. We really had to haul ass, since we were so late already, but we did take time to stop off at Horseshoe Canyon for a quick peak.
Horseshoe Canyon is the closest thing we've got up here to the Grand Canyon. It's a great place to waste a few hours mucking around in. One hint. Don't go in the rain -- everything turns into the slipperiest mud I've ever seen.
Last time we were here there was a lady selling the sweetest peaches in the universe. Sadly, she was only there on weekends, so we had to make do with overpriced ice cream bars.
Dinosaurs are cool.
Mom Rating: 4 out of 5. Mom loves the Tyrrell, but will be jealous that she didn't get to go in behind.
Big Brother note: Haven't been watching. I feel like I've betrayed you all.
Survivor! note: Wednesday is the final night! Woo hoo!
