One of the perks of where I work is that the nice ladies in Marketing hand out all sorts of freebies. We get tons upon tons of tickets to concerts, festivals, movies. I love not paying for stuff.

Case in point: Two red hot tickets to the Friday night shows at the Calgary Folk Music Festival. Sweet. It's a big four day festival, but I really wanted to go tonight, because Great Big Sea is one of the main acts. Great Big Sea! If you haven't heard of these guys, crank up your copy of Napster and get some right now. I'll wait.

These guys are the best thing to come out of Canada's east coast. And that includes Atlantic lobster.

Anyway, I did get that late story posted, like I was asked. Of course it turns out that our automatic script picked it up after all. At least I got to sleep in an extra hour.

I'm also happy to see that this is my fifth entry this week. A personal record. Thank you so much.
