What I Saw Today... (click on the eyes for the original photo)

November 14, 1997
As I was reading the newspaper over the shoulder of the woman seated next to me on the C-Train into downtown this morning, I happened to notice an article about a stripper named Emjay "Killer" Foxx.

Apparently, charges of assault causing bodily harm that had been laid against this young lady had been dropped in exchange for her agreeing to a $500 peace bond.

Note that this article was under the headline, "Stripper Whips 'Em In Court".

Details: Foxx was charged last November after a 21-year-old named Brian reportedly paid her $20 to spank him on stage with his own belt. She must have whupped him a good 'un, because the charges were apparently laid by the young lad's father. This peace bond says that she must keep the peace and be of good behavior for one year, or be fined $500.

A nice token fine I think. Thank you, the Canadian Legal system, for upholding every idiot's right to be beaten and humiliated on stage in front of your jeering peers. For money even.
