Kidnapped
See. This is what I was talking about. SImilar premise -- kidnapped person, hints of secrets and conspiracies, but it's quiet and to one side, with the focus on the people and the procedure. We may not like them all, but we're given reasons to understand who they are and why they are the way they are.
I like the action between the private operative and the FBI agents. Former connections, yet diverging purposes. I like that they work together as much as they can and actually have respect for each other.
We watched two episodes in a row and I enjoyed each one.
