Okay, even with the pet food problems easing off, there are lots of normal things you shouldn't be feeding your dogs and cats.
I had no idea that grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure and kill dogs.

Oy, my little miniature schnauzer loves her grapes. I let her have about 3 total at any one time, 1/2 a grape at a time. I guess I'll be not doing that in the future.

Just left Jake at the animal hospital. He scarfed down aroun 250 gm of chocolate bar (thanks Granddad for even having such a monstrosity in the house) He's having charcoal, iv fluids and having his heart monitored cause it's racing. Don't know what it's gonna cost but it sure could have been prevented by putting the darn stuff in the trash.

Just reading this on grandma's new computer - poor Jake - and poor Katie - she loves grapes - stands under my feet as I wash them waiting for the occasional oops - sigh - what about red peppers??
