Okay, once you stop giggling, think about it. His teachers are completely right. Seriously, a kid sits in class in full pirate costume, and when his teacher tells him to change he says, "It's my religion!"

Boot his ass. His Noodly Goodness knows I'm all for a joke, and personally, I would let him wear it for one day. But the article says, "repeated refusal" to stop. Which indicates several days to me and his teacher was no longer laughing.

And you know, it would be different if his school was one of those who were trying to teach Intelligent Design alongside evolution, because then it would be an act of protest. The article doesn't mention if it was, but I suspect not.

That makes him a smart ass.

My friend Connie was back in surgery for the third time last night up in Edmonton. We're told that everything that can be done has been done and now it's up to her.

I think it's terribly cool that the Los Angeles Fire Department has a photostream on Flickr. Some wild shots there.

Was hungry after my swim this morning so got the special at the cafeteria downstairs. Egg, bacon and cheese on a sesame bun with hash browns. Mmm.

Weird thing is that when I picked up the sandwich I noticed that the cafeteria guy made the sandwich with two sesame bun tops. Which is good, because I'm all about the sesame, but I can't help thinking about the poor sap after me stuck with two bottoms.

Heh. Two bottoms.
